To care or not to care?

Being carefree was always my wish: to relax for one day.

Children are carefree, especially in a loving family. The happy-go-lucky ability was something I admired in people regardless of their age even as a child.

To me being carefree means a break from caring how my actions impact others. Although caring can be rewarding it is usually destructive. It’s wearying to ponder consequences.

How can you shelve the sense of responsibility for a day? How can you stop making plans? What is the best way to stop worrying about your loved ones? Is there a way to stop devising scenarios and their possible solutions?
